The Judging for the 2020 Connecticut Bass Nation Annual Scholarships has concluded. We would like to thank our Judges Joe Kowalski, Jim Young and Sylvia Morris for their time and effort.

Our $500 award recipient is Chris Huges from Derby, Ct. Chris fishes with our high school program at Notre Dame of West Haven and will be entering college this fall. He has a tough decision on his school of choice as he is looking at Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac and University of Maine.

The $1000 award goes to Ryan Corcoran from Cromwell, Ct. Fishing with the Cromwell/Rocky Hill high school team, Ryan was nominated by B.A.S.S. to the top 50 High School Anglers in the country. He is one of the first two from Connecticut to receive that honor. Graduating from Cromwell H.S., Ryan will be going to Auburn University and fishing with their College Team.

Receiving our $1500 C.B.N. Scholarship this year is Brandon Miller from Hebron, Ct. who fishes with the RAHM H.S. fishing team. Brandon is interested in studying environmental science and natural resources. He will be going to University Of Connecticut
