The 2018/2019 C.B.N. Scholarships have been judged and recipients announced at the May monthly meeting of the C.B.N. held on May 22nd. Five applications were received this year and our three judges, Sylvia Morris, Alex Shvartsman and Dan Monroe have decided our recipients.
$1500.00 Award – Katherine Lacadie of Milford, CT. She is Sponsored by her Grandfather, John Lacadie of Naugatuck Valley. Katherine will be a Junior at Emerson College with a Major in Writing, Literature and Publishing and minor in History & Environmental Studies.
$1000.00 Award – Abby Rose of Stafford, CT. She is Sponsored by her Father, Todd Rose of Tolland County. Abby plans to Major in Mental Health Services.
$500.00 Award – Anna Billings of Meriden, CT. She is Sponsored by her Father Mike Billings of Midconn Anglers. Anna will be a Sophomore at Worcester State University with a Major in Public Heath and Minor in Business.
